Kelly A. Akana is an Associate in the Trusts and Estate Department, with a focus in estate planning and estate administration. Mrs. Akana also represents clients in guardianship and conservatorship proceedings in Probate and Family Court in Massachusetts.
Mrs. Akana earned her bachelor’s degree from Le Moyne College, where she graduated summa cum laude and participated in Le Moyne’s 3+3 Law Program. She earned her law degree from Albany Law School, where she graduated cum laude.
While at Albany Law School, Mrs. Akana participated in the school’s pro bono in-house litigation clinic with the Family Violence Litigation Department. In this department, she worked closely with survivors of domestic violence and families seeking child custody and protective orders.
