Fletcher Tilton PC is pleased to announce the promotion of Matthew J. Eckel to Officer. A skilled land use and real estate attorney, Eckel brings extensive experience in zoning, permitting, and licensing matters to his new leadership role at the firm.

Since joining Fletcher Tilton, Eckel has established himself as a go-to resource for developers, affordable housing organizations, cannabis establishments, and local property owners seeking guidance on complex real estate, permitting and development matters. His background includes significant work with the Boston Zoning Board of Appeals and prior experience at a Boston law firm specializing in zoning and permitting.

A graduate of Suffolk University Law School and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, both cum laude, Eckel’s commitment to a lifelong career in the law was evident during his early stages while holding a judicial internship with the Honorable Bruce R. Henry at Middlesex Superior Court.

The firm elevates associates to the role of officer when an attorney has demonstrated consistent and excellent legal practice, a commanding level of expertise in particular areas of the law and, most importantly, commitment and leadership in the firm, including community involvement.

Attorney Eckel is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and works from the firm’s Worcester and Boston offices. Please join the firm in congratulating him on this accomplishment!
