Fletcher Tilton PC would like to extend a big congratulations to RH White in celebrating its 100th anniversary. The company kicked off its centennial celebration with a gala and live auction at Mechanics Hall on Thursday to raise funds for Easter Seals, one of the companies numerous long standing outreach initiatives.
The anniversary is special to Fletcher Tilton PC which has been working alongside RH White since its inception. In 1932, Fire Chief Ralph White founded the business which consisted of a small operation that installed water and sewer piping. At that time, Fletcher Tilton PC had already celebrated its own 100 years in existence, and began working with RH White as a trusted figure for oversight and legal services. Through years of adaptation and innovation, the company grew into an industry leading construction services and utility management firm that has become a cornerstone of safety, customer service, integrity, and family values.
Fletcher Tilton (founder) Sumner B. Tilton, Sr. and White’s relationship grew as leadership at both companies switched hands from generation to generation. When White retired in 1969, his son, Leonard, filled the role of President. Leonard’s son David White accepted the position 20 years later. Likewise, at Fletcher Tilton PC, when Sumner’s son, Sumner Tilton, Jr. (Tony) joined the firm, he eventually handed the relationship over to him. Tony went on to serve the company for the next 50 years, and recently celebrated his retirement from the RH White Board of Directors at a celebration in 2018. Today, both companies are poised for the success of future generations to come.
