We serve as Trustee and Co-Trustee of Supplemental Needs Trusts for individuals with disabilities. We work closely with family members and other trusted individuals to provide the support and other assistance a beneficiary may need, to accommodate their level of capability at any particular time, to understand and evaluate the eligibility rules of government and private benefits that they may be receiving, and to make distributions in the beneficiary’s interest without jeopardizing those benefits. Services include investment and reinvestment of trust assets pursuant to individually focused investment strategies, collection of income, payment of the beneficiary’s expenses, advocacy on behalf of the beneficiary, and the preparation of annual accountings, government reports, and fiduciary income tax returns.
