William D. Jalkut is Of Counsel to the firm. He concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and personal injury litigation. He has been with the firm since 1979 and has served as president of the firm.
Mr. Jalkut earned both his bachelor’s degree and his law degree from Boston College. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He has tried cases as lead counsel in all levels of the state courts and in the U.S. District Court. He has handled appeals in both the state appellate courts and the First Circuit. The state Superior Court, District Court, and Probate Court, together with the U.S. District Court have appointed him on multiple occasions to serve as master and as a mediator on complex cases.
Mr. Jalkut maintains an active membership in several professional organizations and bar associations. He twice served as chairman of The Worcester County Superior Court Committee. He served as Chairman of the Worcester County Fee Arbitration Committee for more than 20 years. Former Governor Charlie Baker appointed him to serve on the Judicial Nominating Commission.
